EEP alum visiting or contacting us this term, in addition to those who attended Orientation in May include:
- Chris Chien (1998) M.D, Chris Lee (2006) PhD 2010, Eric Mendoza (2004), George Woo(2004).
- Kimberly Chuang spending a year of study abroad at Oxford was selected as an illustrator for Oxford's student magazine Isis. Isis is the World's oldest student magazine
- Andrew Jick, in addition to graduating, was selected to intern with the prestigious Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) as well as being selected to intern at Bet Tzedek Services of Hollywood. Both these selective law organizations serve low -income persons with legal assistance. Go Andrew. He chose LAFLA by the way!
- Akai Montgomery an engineering student and LSAMP scholarship winner was selected to join a research program at UCLA for the summer working on nanomanufacturing techniques. For more Akai go here: http://lsamp.calstatela.edu/lsamp/main.jsp?p=2d
- Laura Petersen, in addition to graduating, presented research /participated in the Western Psychological Association (WPA) conference in Vancouver, Canada
- EEP alum Leana Wen A Rhodes Scholar in 2007, was the winner of the New York Times Essay competition wining an all expense paid trip to Africa.
