Family Newsletter
School-time arrived in September with new EEP Freshmen, continuing Regulars and newly minted Elders, all of whom made it a great Fall Quarter and a great beginning of the academic year! Now, after the first WPCT testing completed, we welcome you to the Winter 2006 term and wish you all a Happy New Year! Here is all the news we can think to print from Fall 05 into Winter 06, pleasant reading and, of course, we hope you had a Happy Holiday Season!

EEP Grandbaby!! Daniel Rollins and wife had a son named Ethan Daniel Rollins born on Sunday October 23rd 2005. Baby Rollins weighed in at 8lbs 4oz and was 21inches in length. The EEP family grows even outside our normal recruitment efforts! We congratulate the entire Rollins and Ready families on a new brilliant future EEP candidate!
EEP alumni Mr Hank Wang has some temporary part-time openings in his firm for an EEPster with some level of interest in finances, taxes and B&E. Must have completed first year Accounting courses. Feel free to contact hank.wangxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Alumni Visits and Written Communiqué this Quarter:
- Chris Chien fourth year student at Chicago Medical College visited on December 9th and is back at home now working at USC med center for the semester.
- Kathleen Holtz at UCLA Law has secured summer employment (Munger, Tolles & Olson) and offered pre-law students admissions advice (see Student Info binder) kathleenxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- Verena Firpo now attending Pharmacy School at University of California San Francisco (UCSF), for advice write to o0v.v0oxxxxxxxxxxxx
- Daniel Firpo who is now obtaining his Ph.D. in Information Science at the Claremont Graduate School.
- Paul Gowder J.D visited the Lounge on 9-12-13 while home for a family visit
- Alina Gharabegian M.A visited on Wednesday October 26th and is a member of the first class of EEPsters ever! Alina entered EEP in 1984 at age 14 and graduated at 19 in 1989, up to that point the EEP had only one student who was admitted in 1983. Alina is currently at NYU working on doctorate in literature and is an English teacher at Queens College. More alum advice from an O.E (original EEPster!) Psstleegxxxxxxxxxxx
- Susan Ngo, financial analyst, notary public and CFA level III candidate is a UCLA Anderson School of Management Riordan Fellows Program scholar. ngo.susanxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- Stephen Liu and Philip Tseng both at the Roseland Franklin Grad School and Medicine College in Chicago stopped by in September during Catalina to say "hi"
- Daniel Tamae working on his PhD at the City of Hope Beckman Research Inst. Graduate program visited on 9-28-05. For alum advice: DTamaexxxxxxxxxxxx
- Suzanne Vega J.D visited on 10-13-05 then again at the WPCT on December 4th with fellow alum Adam Fraser J.D, M.P.P.
- Jeremy Weatherby working on his thesis for MA in Theology from Tyndale Theological Seminar in Badhoevedrop, Netherlands sent us an e-mail in October.
